how it works
Sclerotherapy works by using a sclerosing agent to target problematic veins. During the procedure, Asclera is injected into the vein, causing it to become inflamed and adhere to itself. This reaction seals the vein, and over time, it is absorbed by the body. The number of treatments needed depends on the size and location of the veins, but typically, 2-3 sessions are required to achieve optimal results. While the initial results can be seen in about six weeks, the full improvement can continue up to a year.
